SM Lighting has been a family-owned business for over 20 years, working to supply lighting and plumbing fixtures to independent residences, as well as working on commercial projects. After multiple meetings to discover SM Lighting’s needs, it was evident that a digital presence was the highest priority. The company was regularly updating their catalog with new items, which made a PPC strategy a second priority for the client. An Adword campaign specifically geared towards their target market would be useful to raise new product awareness and showcase their stock to a wider range of potential customers.
How We Did It
After discussing the needs of the project with the client, we revamped the original logo, in order to bring it up to date with modern aesthetics. The social media content calendar was also designed to target four specific areas of posting: Design Inspirations, Showcased Products, Completed Projects, and Creative Personality posts. Each posting category had a specific goal. The Creative Personality posts, for example, was used to deliver tips on lighting selection, share punny quotes, as well as music videos that would grab viewer’s attention. A monthly flier was also designed, which would be sent out to frequent buyers to showcase promotional items or new items.
The result was a modern facelift for their branding to give a modern and up to date feel. The engagement strategy was crafted to elevate the SM brand in the local lighting market, and a precise PPC strategy was curated in order to increase organic sales.
